Piazza Marconi is near to the Greve river and represents one of the most important access points to the city of Scandicci. The river gives the square a magic atmosphere due to the proximity with the inhabited area

The new deployment of Piazza Marconi aims at rebuilding and enriching the public space. It also enhances an urban place near to the town sporting area and the Greve river

The Town Counci built the square aiming to give a new access to the river and enriching the sports area with a garden.
New Piazza Marconi was ended in October 2004 and Scandicci's people could live the square at 10/07/2004.
