DARIO BARTOLINI

Born in Trieste, 1943.
Between ages 10 and 16, paints. Foration as an artist and architect.

1965-1973: produces machines and interactive sound-reactive installations with light.

1965-1973: creates machines and interactive sound installations reactive to lights.

1967-1973: member of Achizoom, a Florentine group of avant-garde
architects.

In 1969, marries Lucia: son Ernesto born in 1970, Giuseppe in 1973.
1972: Masters degree in architecture with thesis titled: "Veicolo a passo variabile".

1973-1996: industrial consultant in textile-clothing sector, specialized in technology for production, innovation of products, and production process control.

1973-1989: experience in educational innovation; designed educational materials: solar appliances, territorial maps, simulation models, and computer applications for performing bibliographic searches; designed and wrote books for children.

1989-1993: took up painting again.

1992-: works with reinforced iron and glass. Hung works, suspended works, works embedded in walls, but above all works in ground or on water surfaces. The use of iron permits 3D forms.

1994-: works designed for specific locations and related to the environment.

1999-: works designed for travel with specific routes and goals.

MARIA DOMPÈ

Spatial culture is a civic responsibility, two implications of a unique career based on the analysis of a spiritual vision of art. Maria Dompè was born in Fermo on the 4th of March, 1959. After attending a high school for the arts, she graduated in 1982 from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome with a degree in sculpture.

In 1985 she began exhibiting in public spaces. Among the many environmental installations, between 1990 and 2003 can be noted:

PAOLO STACCIOLI

Born in Scandicci in 1943.
Dedicated to painting from an early age. First exhibition was in 1973. From the end of the 80s, interested in ceramic arts and attended a famous workshop, honing a particular technique for reduction firing. From canvas he moved to vases and high-relief ceramic compositions (his bronze plate of Pegasus was commissioned by the regional government of Tuscany to award to the protagonists of the Luna Rossa in 2000).

From the mid-90s cherubs, horses and warriors, He has participated in several editions of the Biennale di Faenza. In 1999 he was invited to the International Ceramics Festival in Aberystwyth (Wales) and participated in the Ceramic Millennium in Amsterdam.

He has had more than 40 exhibitions of his work in Italy and Europe, among which the most recent are: "L’Ile en Terre" gallery, Saint Paul de Vence; "Man Arte"gallery, Paris; "Anderson" gallery, Worcestershire, GB; "Gagliardi"gallery, San Gimignano; Abbazia di Badia a Settimo, Scandicci; "Studio 2005" Er den Haag, NL; "Ken's Art Gallery", Firenze.

VALENTINO MORADEI GABBRIELLI

He was born in Scandicci (Florence) on March 19th of 1959 and is the member of the florentine "Bottega Fantacchiotti-Gabbrielli", founded in 19th century by Odoardo Fantacchiotti (1811.1877), the sculptor Donatello Gabbrielli's nephew (1884 -1955). Compie gli studi presso il Liceo Artistico e l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, diplomandosi con Oscar Gallo nel 1981. He studied at the Liceo Artistico and the Accademia di Belle Arti of Firenze, and graduated with Oscar Gallo in the 1981. Then he joined from 1981 to 1983 the italian archaeological mission of Hierapolis of Frigia in Turkey, where he works as restorer of ancient marbles. Afterwards he teaches at the Izmir National Archaeological Museum. Back in Italy in 1984, he teaches at the Istituto Statale d’Arte in Siena, and begins working with many american universities in Florence. He's a very unusual artist, because he makes sculptures by unique materials like varnished cement the synthetic resins. He also works as a scenography sculptor for lyric works and comedies in many italian and foreign theatres.
His personal exhibitions were awarded with the "Prize Merchant Bank" in 1982, granted by the historian of art Charles Ragghianti, the Prize of Sculpture "Phillip Albacini" in 1986, granted by the sculptor Fausto Melotti. He also works in the field of graphics and design, becoming known in Japan as draftsman of a brand of watches. Some of his personal exhibitions in Japan were: Tokyo in 1995, Fukuoka in 1998 and Fukuoka and Oita in 2001. In 1987 he works at the winning project for the urban furnish of the Grosseto historical center. In 1998 he makes a work for the "Parco Comunale di Scultura Contemporanea delle Vallette d’Ostellato" (Ferrara). In August 2003 he created a monumental work for the new establishment of the florentine company called "Cooperativa di Legnaia." He also made the monumental bronzed work called "Umanità" at the "Parco Museo d’Arte Ambientale di Poggio Valicaia" in Scandicci. A personal exhibition of him ws present in the spring of 1997 at the Town Museum for the contemporary art "Burgkloster" of Lubecca in Germany, for the 10th anniversary of the Società Dante Alighieri. Another exhibition was organized at the “Galerie im Hause Reese” (city of Lubecca) by the Italienisches Generalkonsulat Hamburg and the Deutsch-Italienische Gesellschaft. An important exhibition called "La committenza di un sogno" (with his grandfather the sculptor Donatello Gabbrielli), is cuurently present at the Park and the Villa of Ayala-Valva in Valva (SA), whiche is sponsored by the Provincia of Salerno, by the Soprintendenza per i B.A.P.P.S.A.D. of Salerno and Avellino and by the Regione Campania.
He is currently full professor for the course of Discipline Plastiche e Educazione Visiva at the National institute of art in Florence.
